Key differences from Long Term Payment loans
As of 15 July 2026 short term loans became a regulated credit agreement — regulated by the FCA in the same was as long term loans 12 months +. Section 75 and Financial ombudsman rights apply to these loans in the same way
Complaints - if you have cause to complain about any aspect of your Short term payment loan we will follow the same process as we do for long term payments of 12 months+ and you have the right to refer these complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) following our final decision to uphold your complaint or not.
Payments are taken by Continuous Card Payment, not Direct Debit.
Everything else operates the same as Long Term Payments.
