What is Short Term Payments (STP)?

EE Finance Short Term Payments are interest-free loans over 3, 6, or 9 months, provided by Glow Financial Services Limited.

Key features:

  • 0% APR for the full term.

  • Payments are made by recurring card payment (debit or credit) — no Direct Debit.

  • Access your loan in the EE Finance Customer Portal.

  • Card details can be updated in the portal


Key differences from Long Term Payment loans

  • As of 15 July 2026 short term loans became a regulated credit agreement — regulated by the FCA in the same was as long term loans 12 months +. Section 75 and Financial ombudsman rights apply to these loans in the same way 

  • Complaints - if you have cause to complain about any aspect of your Short term payment loan we will follow the same process as we do for long term payments of 12 months+ and you have the right to refer these complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) following our final decision to uphold your complaint or not.   

  • Payments are taken by Continuous Card Payment, not Direct Debit.

  • Everything else operates the same as Long Term Payments.
